Every stair lift is tested to reach the highest safety specifications. The stair lift is powered by a maintenance free DC powerpack, which ensures your stair lift will still work in the event of a power outage. Another feature pioneered by ACORN is the on—board diagnostic display which alerts you to any potential operational issues before they arise. (e.g. the stair lift has accidentally been switched off or is incorrectly parked)

Swivel seat - no need to twist your body to get on & off the stair lift
Hand-held remote control ‘calls’ the lift to where you need it
Safety cut out sensors to detect possible obstructions e.g. objects left on the stairs

‘Perch’ seat - when the user may have trouble sitting down or bending at the knee or the stairway is particularly narrow
Sit/Stand option for when one user prefers to sit, and the other stand
Outdoor lift - can be installed onto outdoor steps (e.g. a garden or deck)
Transfer Platform (a cost effective alternative to a curved rail)
